Central Business District

This Studio assignment is to prepare a layout of Central business district with defined plots for individual buildings along with requisite details such as street system, broad joining, arrangement of commercial and industrial blocks, utility network, Open Spaces and other facilities in order to arrive at a physically healthy, socially benefiting and economically viable integrated environment. The theme of the design would be in the lines of new urbanism. Transit oriented development, Compact City / recycling-oriented City / Equal city etc. For designing the Transportation system, The concept of self-service bicycle rentals and personal automatic transit systems has been used in the project.
